Oh what a coincidence!

All my life, my mum was a serious mum, everything is about study, comparing me to someone and telling me how I was not good enough. So to me, she's always stress-out-crazy-i-am-not-your-friend mum. Until last month, she came to Australia to visit me and she decided to bring Mahjong! (believe me, I rolled my eyes like a million times, who wants to play that old noisy game?) But we had so much fun!! I instantly addicted to see how fun she was, the silly things that she said when she's playing and honestly I am so glad that I have a chance t see this side of her. She's 67 now and I finally feel relax around her. So Joy please have fun with your kids. Let them see the fun side of yours!!

I love this .. I try my best to do fun things with the kids but my husband is definitely the fun one out of the two of us .. It’s just hard for me to relax sometimes and be carefree

I have the same struggle, but I find if I am aware of it and acknowledge it, it helps me make an attempt to be more carefree. But it doesn't come natural at all!

As a mom of teenagers I can say it’s been a long time since either of them thought I was fun 🫣🫣 BUT... when I hear my kids friends say that about me, I know I’ve made it. 🤪 Great post. Love the suggestions. ❤️
